The first meeting of the Southwest Florida Civil War Roundtable will take place on February 9, 2021 at the Estero Recreation Center (9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. See maps below) starting at 6:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting will be to select officers, establish a meeting agenda and meeting place that best meets the needs of members, and consider agenda items.

This evening's agenda will consist of an update on efforts to restore the bust honoring Robert E. Lee to a position of public honor in the county named after him as well as a review of the destruction wreaked upon so many of the nation's historical monuments.
