Recently, a small group of Civil War enthusiasts met to share news and information related to both this period of nineteenth-century history as well current events. Two members, Lee Hadsock and Jim Clark, both long-time re-enactors of both the Seminole War and Civil War, brought in roughly a dozen workable percussion rifles, canteens, bullets, bayonets and other artifacts which they described and discussed. Jack Bovee brought in some authentic Confederate money--some of which were printed by the State of Florida during the conflict. Some of the pictures of these artifacts are below.
